	1920's Satin and Chantilly Lace Wedding Dress No labels, hand made, couture details. The hand made silk lace is done in white, and is the most exquisite lace I have ever seen. Soft and supple, like gossamer. Yet in incredibly nice condition with no drying at all. The dress is done in a candlelight beige silk satin. The satin is also in equally as nice of shape as the lace, soft, supple, clean, no damage at all. Classic 1920's fitted, drop-waist style with a slightly full skirt. Lace overlay for just the right touch. Lace trim bodice/neckline, lace sleeves. Pleated waist treatment, with pleated satin panels down sides of dress. Dress bodice is lined in a fine white silk netting, skirt is un-lined. Dress is in near mint condition, the only flaws being small perspiration rings both sides, four tiny brown spots on one side bow, 4 tiny brown spots on one pannier. The satin and the lace are incredibly clean, soft and supple with no drying at all. Size small. 	1950's Suzy Perette Matte Taffeta Cocktail Dress with Sculptural Tulip Hem "Suzy Perette New York" label. Late 1950's. A matte black taffeta of silk or silk blend fabric. Dress is styled with classic bateau neckline with a very fitted bodice, bodice is darted not with the usual darts but with seams at either side of bodice, creating shape for bust. The skirt is full, pleated around the waist, and finished with an inverted tulip shape with pleats, gathers and decorative sculptural faux "bow" accent. The bodice is not lined, the skirt has a partial taffeta lining and also an attached crinoline skirt. Fastens with back metal zipper. In excellent condition - although one of the bust darts looks like it was re-sewn. Size Small. Measures 34 to snug 35" bust, 27" waist, free hips, 15 1/2" shoulder to waist 27" waist to hem. 	1950's Sophie Gimbel Salon Moderne Printed Silk Chiffon Evening Gown "Salon Moderne " Saks Fifth Avenue label. The Salon Moderne at Saks was the couture custom department. Sophie Gimbel was the custom designer for Salon Moderne, which also carried original designs from top couturiers. The gown is printed silk chiffon over matching printed silk satin, very fine and expensive. Probably a spring gown, the floral print in gorgeous multi-pastel colors against a watery aqua background. The gown is Grecian one-shoulder strap style, with the strap covered in a full length pleated silk chiffon panel, matching the dress of course. The bodice has tight pleating across the bust, and front to back along the top. Fitted, with a semi-full, full-length skirt. The bodice of the gown is lined in a matching blue silk, the skirt (printed satin) is lined in cream silk. The gown fastens with back metal zipper. In very very good condition. The bodice lining has been let out at side seams and back darts. There is a small snag on side of skirt at hip. Size small-medium. 	1940's Rayon Crepe Dress with Peplum, Pleating and Swag "Mark - Robbins Original" label. From the late 1940's. I've had quite a few very nice 40s rayon dresses in my life, but this is one of my top 3 favorites of all time. I love a black and white print! The rayon crepe is heavenly, very silky, medium weight - almost like a gabardine. The dress is styled with a scoop neckline and cap sleeves, fitted bodice and waist. Skirt flares out slightly at the hem. There are side pleats on the skirt that create a swag or faux sarong look. The upper left side of bodice next to neckline has a self fabric knotted rayon flower decoration that is adorable! The dress is in very good to excellent condition. It has two speck spots, neither of them easy to find or see. Size small. Measures 15 1/2" shoulder to shoulder edge, up to 36" bust, 27" waist, 37" hips, 16" shoulder to waist, 29" waist to hem.
