1950's Pringle Beaded Cashmere Cardigan

"Pringle 100% Pure Cashmere, made in Scotland" label. Ah, the sought-after Pringle cashmere cardigan! Very thick, creamy cream colored cardigan covered in hand-sewn white glass beading. Beading and sequins leaf design on front and back is very dense and so gorgeous. The body and arms of the cardigan are covered in white glass beaded letters of the alphabet!  Lined in white silk, original shell buttons. Looks like new-excellent to mint condition. And a medium-large size. Measures 17" shoulder to shoulder edge, 23" sleeves, 41" bust, 35" waist, hem measures 29" un-stretched, and 23" shoulder to hem. For a larger view click here. 1960's Tina Leser Beaded Cashmere Cardigan

"Tina Leser Originals" label.  Creamy beige thick cashmere is delicious to the touch. This is the first Leser designed cardigan I have come across. It is gorgeous. Front and back of cardigan have generous amount of green and gold beaded flowers. Cardigan is lined in green silk, and fastens front with original mother-of-pearl buttons. The cardigan is in excellent condition except for two small stains: there is one the size and shape of a pea on back waist band, it is faint, there is a speck spot on the back of one sleeve. Other than that, it is in lovely shape. Size small-medium. Measures un stretched 15" shoulder to shoulder edge, 23" sleeves, 34-36" bust, 32" waist, 26" hem, 20" shoulder to waist. 1950's Beaded Angora Blend Cardigan

Label is missing, has size tag. Gorgeous angora wool blend in powder blue, so feminine! White glass beads in a floral and leaf design accented by pearl beads. I love the way the beading is along the border of the cardigan. Lined in perfectly matching pale blue silk. Fastens front with hooks and eyes. Excellent condition. Size small-medium. 1950's Tina Leser Ethnic Embroidered Skirt

"Tina Leser Originals" label. Black cotton canvas or burlap fabric with red border at hem. Skirt is covered in embroidery of elephants, horses and other shapes and designs. I am not quite sure if this is an African influence, or more of an East Indian influence. The skirt is smooth in front and has wide pleats in back. There are multi-color fringes at sides of zipper placket. The skirt is lined in black organza, and fastens with back metal zipper. A unique design from a great American sportswear designer. In good wearable condition, free of holes, one brown stain size of nickel on back of skirt, could use a cleaning. Size small-xtra small. Skirt measures 23" waist - the band fastens with hooks and eyes. The hooks could be moved to enlarge the waist maybe an inch or so. Measures 37" hips and 25" in length. For a larger view click here.
