1960's Hand Painted and Decorated Soure' Bag

"Soure' Bags New York" label. In absolutely pristine condition, looks like new. The bag is made of a linen like burlap fabric with vinyl covered handle, frame and piping along the sides. The front of the bag has hand painted scene of branches, vines, flowers and an exotic bird. Some of flowers have yarn and gold foil embroidery, some of the flowers and branches are studded with gold beads and jeweled. Of course the exotic bird is embroidered and beaded. The bag is a wheat colored linen like burlap fabric on back, sides and bottom. Bottom has 4 gold tone feet. Bag is lined in cream faux shantung. This bag is a work of art and in like new condition, but does have a faint remnant of a spill on the back of the bag, not too noticeable. For a larger view click here. 1930's Satin Handbag with Tambour Embroidery and Beading

No labels or maker's marks. A black silk satin handbag that is pleated across the top under the frame, and has decorative tambour embroidery on front. Gold tone frame, chain handle, and latch. Top of bag is decorated with two colors of beads in a braided design, with matching beading on front latch. Lined in black silk faille. Excellent condition. 1950's Palizzio Slim Leather Boxy Handbag

Marked "Palizzio, New York" in gold lettering.  This handbag is made of fine quality matte black leather and shiny black leather, formed into an attractive design. It's a slim, long, rectangular handbag with a sturdy leather covered handle, and black lacquered ball latch. The interior is lined in purple and pink satin, has original coin purse, too. Over all in very good to excellent condition, showing very minor surface dings here and there, a little scuffing on handle. 1940's Corde' Handbag - Tulip Shape
