	1950's Satin Gown with Sequins No labels found. What a pretty color of dark berry pink- almost red but not quite. Made of rayon satin and lined in a white stiff facing fabric for shape. Fitted bodice, wide pleats at waist, full skirt. Decorative panel at neckline with pink and berry sequins design. Fastens with back metal zipper. Aside from needing to be pressed, it is in excellent shape, hardly worn, but has small dark smudge at back hem on one of the pleats on back skirt. Size small. 	1950's Nat Kaplan Printed Silk Dress with Beads and Sequins "Nat Kaplan New York" label. Pretty occasion dress of silk crepe de Chine with gorgeous scarf print. Light beige back with olive, lavender, coral, and ice blue. Dress is styled with fitted waist finished with self piping, shirring below waist for a bit of fullness to the skirt, and back kick pleat. White glass beads and pearly sequins are clustered around mid section of bodice, really pretty. Dress is lined in off white silk organza and fastens with back metal zipper. The dress is in very good condition, the only flaws noted are a small water stain under back shoulder, and dress has been cleaned but there are still some permanent ripples in the fabric, as happens with vintage silk. 	1950's Miss Brooks Silk Print Dress with Pleating "Miss Brooks New York". Silk charmuese with floral print in cool shades of turquoise blue, light blue, aqua and violet. Fitted, hourglass shape, slim skirt. Bodice and waist are fitted. Bodice has pleated shawl collar with pretty self ascot with fringe at one side. Skirt is pleated at left waist for a sarong look. Dress is lined in matching rayon. Skirt has back kick pleat and fastens with back metal zipper. This dress would be absolutely flawless except for light fading across the shoulders from storage. 	1940's Lace Over Taffeta Evening Dress No labels found, professionally made. Bronze silk faille dress with bark brown lace overlay. The dress is ballerina style. Fitted bandeau bodice with sweetheart neckline. Decorative pleated lace across the bust, the center is gathered and "tied" with a taffeta tie. The bodice is boned front and back. The waist of the skirt is shirred all around, the skirt very full and evening length. The taffeta of the skirt has an inset Chevron stripe style panel inset, to match the lace perfectly. The dress fastens with a side metal zipper and is in very good condition except straps show some wear. The straps were sewn down, but the dress was meant to be a halter, it hangs much nicer as a halter. The lace is really quite pretty, a nice machine made lace. Has a hand-made look to it. 	1950's Printed Lame' Sheath Dress with Tie Belts No labels found. A classic sheath dress in lame' (fabric with metallic weave), probably rayon or silk blend, with an unusual print with obvious Middle Eastern or Indian influence. A slim, loose-fitting dress with fitted waist. The dress doesn't have the ordinary tie belt, but rather self ties to tie on the sides of the dress, which looks quite nice. The dress is fully lined in a soft cotton fabric, and fastens with side metal zipper. The dress is in excellent condition, but the lining does have coffee colored spots on the lower skirt, not visible from outside, and there is one pulled gold thread on lower side of skirt.
