1960's Silk Dress with Appliqués' and Lace Trim

Cute berry pink silk dress has pretty silk roses appliqués' across bodice. Styled with empire waist, skirt as a pleat at either side of waist. Lined in silk, back metal zipper. White lace with berry ribbon piped through has been added to waist and hem. Good condition, the appliqué fabric is shattering but still intact, and there is a small spot on the skirt. 1960's Printed Wool Jersey Date Dress

No labels. Very fitted and curve hugging wool jersey dress, fully lined. Has a blousen style bodice and slim fitting skirt. Red, white  and coral floral print. Back nylon zipper. Excellent condition although the bodice lining is probably not original to the dress and is a little faded in areas. Size small. 1960's Printed Silk Chiffon Grecian Gown with Floating Panels

"Evelyn Byrne, tailored in Hong Kong" label. A gorgeous printed silk chiffon over matching ice blue silk crepe. The print is a watercolor of muted flowers in aqua, violet, spring green, turquoise and white. The gown is styled with an empire waist finished with self band. Both layers of surplice bodice are decoratively pleated. The full length skirt flares at hem. The chiffon panels are shirred at the shoulders and float from back shoulder to lower skirt. Gown fastens with back metal zipper. In very good condition. No stains found, has been cleaned. Has one small hole in back panel at arm opening level, snags on bust. Size medium. 1940's Taffeta Dress with Ruching

"Hal-Mar" label. This dress is matte black and made of an acetate taffeta. Acetate isn't my favorite fabric, but it works with this dress design. The design and construction are just perfect. And, the dress may be dead stock (old store stock) because it looks unworn, and still has a store tag string hanging from inside the sleeve, although no tag attached. The dress is fitted through the bodice and ruched up the sides. The sleeves are ruched up the top also, and have "drawstrings" that tie in bows. The skirt is shirred around the waist and full. The dress fastens with back metal zipper, is unlined and in like new condition.  Size small. Measures 37" bust, 27" waist, free hips, 16" shoulder to waist, 29" waist to hem. 1940's Rayon Novelty Print Day Dress

No labels, probably home made. Could be late 1930's. Off white background with scenic print of hills, trees, houses and flowers. Sleeves and neckline are finished with blue rayon piping. Dress bodice fastens with hidden snaps up the front, the opening is decorated with non-functioning buttons. In very good to excellent condition. Has been in storage for awhile, may need cleaning but no dirt or stains. Size medium. Measures 16" shoulder to shoulder edge, 37" bust, 30" waist, 38" hips, 16" shoulder to waist.
