1960's Norman Norell Silk Crepe Day Dress

"Norman Norell for I Magnin & Co" label. This two - piece dress is made of the most luscious silk crepe gabardine I have ever felt. And it has a darker pink silk crepe lining. Absolutely gorgeous construction. The dress is a fitted sheath with batiste straps, shirring at waist, and attached self belt. The print is of cream colored trees against a very girly pink background. The top is a button-back slightly fitted blouse. The ensemble has border print along the hems. The top is also lined in pink silk crepe, with no raw or salvage edges. All hand stitching. the condition is good, the top is very faded. The dress is wearable but needs new straps. The dress has a couple of very very faint spots on the skirt- did not come all the way out with cleaning. Back zipper has been replaced. Size small. 1950's Silk Print Balloon Hem Party Dress

No labels, home made. Gorgeous silk crepe de Chine fabric in off white/beige, with bright turquoise, berry pink, spring green and white floral print. The straps are wide and pleated, neckline is square. Slightly fitted waist, full skirt with balloon hem. Lined in off white rayon faille, back metal zipper. In very good condition, has evidence of seams being taken in and let out on side front of bodice, has faint spot below one strap on front, the size of two peas. Tiny spot on lower front of skirt. 1950's Taffeta "Barbie" Dress

Made of rayon acetate taffeta, one of the stiffest taffetas on the planet! And the skirt is lined in a stiff facing, as if it needed it. The bodice is fitted with a V shaped seam going from side to center waist. Skirt waist is finished with self piping, skirt has wide pleating and is full. The dress has a really pretty print of blue roses with olive and black stems against a white background. Dress fastens with back metal zipper. In very good condition, it does need a cleaning, the skirt has a few small light brown dust or dirt streaks, and the underarms have a tiny rim of ring. Size small, and on the petite side. 1950's Cotton Print Dress with Appliqués and Rhinestones

No labels, probably home made. Cotton dress with floral print in cream, lavender, teal, turquoise, and gray-brown. V neckline, fitted waist, full skirt. Comes with original belt. There are 5 pretty quilted flower appliqués of same fabric at left shoulder. Each flower is adorned with a rhinestone and 3 pearl beads. Dress fastens with side metal zipper.
