1960's Scarf Print Silk Dress

No labels, professionally made. What a gorgeous silk screen print of flowers against a black background. The fabric is really gorgeous, silk with a satin finish. Fitted, with semi-full skirt that has shirring around the waist. Dress is fully lined in silk organza, and fastens with back metal zipper. In very good-excellent condition. Size medium. 1970's  Italian Silk Chiffon Faux Wrap Dress -  Mint with Tags 

"Puccetti de Firenzi, Italy made in Italy" label. Also has "Puccetti" signatures on print. I found some information on this designer, he had a couture boutique in Rome as early as the late 1950's.  This ultra-feminine dress is made of silk chiffon in raspberry pink with pretty turquoise, white and purple floral print. The dress is styled like a wrap dress, only it is attached at the left waist and doesn't actually wrap. Plunging neckline, shirring at top shoulders with ruching at ends of sleeves, fitted, long flow-y skirt. Bias cut fabric. Hidden side zipper. Mint condition, still has store tags and price tag. Size large. Measures 17" shoulder to shoulder seam, 22" sleeves, up to 40" bust, 32" waist, free hips, 17" shoulder to waist. For a larger view click here. For a side view click here. 1950's Mardi Gras New York Printed Satin and Lame' Cocktail Dress

"Mardi Gras New York" label. Silk satin has the look of velvet flocked satin, but is a print, with silver metallic threads for sparkle. The fabric is sprinkled with silver and gold lame' decorated foliage - it has shimmer for evening glamour. Done in pale green background with shades of olive and chartreuse green print. This is a two-piece dress. The top is loose fitting, with plunging surplice back with pleating detail. There is a sculptural side swag bow that fastens at the side with hooks and snaps. The top is given shape with two vertical princess seams at either side of front, and is lined in a copper rayon acetate. The dress has a plain copper acetate lining top and a printed satin skirt, also lined. The dress fastens with back metal zipper. This is in excellent clean condition. Size small-medium. Dress without shell top measures 36" bust, 28" waist, 38" hips, 16" shoulder to waist, 40" shoulder to hem. Top measures a bit larger than the dress and should fit loosely. 1940's Lace Over Taffeta Evening Dress

No labels found, professionally made. Bronze silk faille dress with bark brown lace overlay. The dress is ballerina style. Fitted bandeau bodice with sweetheart neckline. Decorative pleated lace across the bust, the center is gathered and "tied" with a taffeta tie. The bodice is boned front and back. The waist of the skirt is shirred all around, the skirt very full and evening length. The taffeta of the skirt has an inset Chevron stripe style panel inset, to match the lace perfectly. The dress fastens with a side metal zipper and is in excellent condition except straps show some wear. The straps were sewn down, but the dress was meant to be a halter, it hangs much nicer as a halter. The lace is really quite pretty, probably machine made but a very very good one.
