1960's Hanori Satin and Lace Cocktail Dress

"Hanori" label. Midnight blue satin strappy dress with empire waist, and matching midnight blue illusion lace bodice. The waist has a wide inset band of satin with a center bow. The lace fastens in back with hook, there is a slit opening under that. The dress fastens with back metal zipper. In perfect condition. Size small/petite. Measures 15" shoulder to shoulder edge, 32" bust, 30" midriff, 25" waist, free hips, 15" shoulder to bottom of waist band, 24" bottom of waist band to hem. For a larger view click here. 1960 Satin-Trimmed Silk Chiffon Dress and Jacket Set

No labels, professionally made. Forrest green silk chiffon cocktail sheath with matching jacket. Both sheath and jacket have green satin trim. The dress is fully lined in black silk and fastens with back metal zipper. The jacket fastens at neck with hook and snap. The set is in very good condition, one of the spaghetti straps on the dress shows a little stress and there is a small hole above the right bust on the jacket. Size small-medium. 1960's Nelly de Grab Brocade Cocktail Dress

"Halls, Kansas City" and "Nelly de   Grab" labels. A pretty brocade pattern in gold and platinum. If you look closely, it is not the standard floral design, but swans! Very unique. The dress is an unfitted sheath style, with matching belt, and a mock turtle neck. The belt is made of the same fabric. The dress is lined in acetate, and fastens with back nylon zipper. Un-fussy design that is pretty and easy to wear for dancing on New Years Eve! In very good condition. The only issues this dress has are underarm rings particularly at one side. They actually do not stand out, and could be altered out if desired. Size small-medium. Measures 15 1/2" shoulder edge to edge, up to 36" bust, 32" waist, 36" hips, 38 1/2" shoulder to hem. 1950's Silk Organza Dress with Lace Appliqués

"An Original Bernetti New York" label. A beautiful dress of black silk organza over a lower-cut layer of black silk faille. The bodice has a V neckline, with a wide trim of nude mesh fabric covered in black mesh fabric. The bust is darted for shape, the waist is fitted. The skirt is full (but not super full). The front of the dress has large black floral lace appliqués, it is really quite pretty. There is a large lace flower under left shoulder, a really nice touch and makes the look of the dress. The dress is lined in black silk, and fastens with back metal zipper. In excellent condition with moderate wear, has one 1/4" rip on sheer fabric at shoulder. Size medium-large. 1950's New Look Matte Taffeta Evening dress with Pleated Bust

"Charles Pillar Original" label. Late 1940's to early 50's. A matte black taffeta of a silk blend fabric. A magnificent design, great lines. The bodice is fitted, with plunging neckline and a shelf style bust. There is a long horizontal pleat across center bust (divided by the center seam) and decorative pleating above that, that expands up and out toward shoulders. The dress is styled with a nipped waist, a 3 1/2" peplum, and a very full skirt with shirring around the waist. The hem of the skirt is turned up and lightly pleated and then hemmed, similar to a balloon hem. The skirt is fully and beautifully lined in matte black taffeta, the bodice is not lined. The dress fastens with back metal zipper. In very good to excellent condition, there is a very faint smudge on the bodice, next to the edge of the neckline, not noticeable. Size small.
