1960's Pauline Trigere Elegant Day to Evening Dress Suit

"Pauline Trigere" red on ivory label, and "Sara Fredericks" label. This dress suit consists of a slightly fitted sheath with hidden inset pockets, and a slightly fitted jacket with color-block detail. The suit is structured, sophisticated and very elegant. Made of a medium weight wool/silk blend in navy blue, with ivory wool color block insets on jacket. I think the insets are brilliant. Both jacket and dress are lined in matching ivory silk. Dress fastens with back zipper and jacket fastens front/side with two large hooks and eyes. In Mint condition. Size large. Dress measures 16 1/2" shoulder edge to edge, 41" bust, 37" waist, 42" hips, 16" shoulder to waist. 1950's Holly Hoelscher Printed Organza Dress

"Holly Hoelscher this is your California Shirt Dress" printed on waist band. This is a label to watch for, always lovely dress maker details and fine fabrics used. This dress is made of silk organza and has a really lovely floral print including tulips in tangerine, grass green, black, raspberry, copper and mustard. Shirtwaist style with hidden button placket. Full length sleeves are full and pleated at the ends, cuffed, and fasten with hooks. Fitted waist, full box-pleated skirt. Hidden inset pockets on skirt. Extremely well made. Excellent condition. 1950's Carlyle Crepe and Lace Cocktail Dress with Tiered Skirt

"Carlyle" label. Gorgeous black lace bodice is backed in nude colored mesh fabric, and scalloped along the edges. The lace actually covers the bodice down below waist to hip level, where the hem is scalloped. Cap sleeves, fitted. Skirt is made of black rayon crepe and is decoratively tiered. Skirt is self lined, bodice is lined in black silk and nude mesh. Dress fastens with back nylon zipper. In excellent condition. Size medium. 1950's Gingham Taffeta Strapless Gown with Appliqués and Rhinestones

Beautiful strapless semi-formal gown of blue and off white gingham with cream daisy appliqués' with rhinestone centers. What could be more summer-y, more youthful and carefree than gingham and daisies? The bodice is shelf style, with an under layer of tightly pleated off- white tulle. The skirt is very full and evening length. The bodice is lined and reinforced with stays on back of bodice. The skirt has it's own attached faille and tulle crinoline slip. The dress fastens with side metal zipper. Very nicely made, very good-excellent condition, has a perspiration ring on the inside lining of bodice and a single nickel size spot in fold of skirt on lower back. Actually looks hardly worn. Fabric is very fresh and crisp - no "dullness" or droopy-ness to fabric. Size small-medium. 1960's Beaded and Embroidered Cocktail Dress with Mermaid Hem

"Miss Brooks New York " label. Definitely a femme fatale, man-eater sort of a dress. Made of black silk or rayon  with a slight satin finish. The dress is covered in tiny embroidered black flowers, and little black beaded flower clusters at "flame" portion of illusion bodice. The neckline has an interesting "flame" design, the upper bodice and sleeves are done in sheer black fabric. the dress is fitted, has back kick pleat and fastens with a back metal zipper.
