1930's Silk Georgette Blouse with Pin Tucks

No labels, professionally made. A sheer silk georgette in an oatmeal/oyster color. A slinky, fitted blouse with long billowy sleeves. The blouse is covered in horizontal pin-tucks which really make the look of the blouse. The blouse fastens in back with clear square plastic buttons (glass would be too heavy) and a hook at the waist, snaps at the neckline and another one at the bottom of the placket. The sleeves also fasten with same buttons. The blouse is in excellent condition, freshly cleaned, has a single speck spot on front waist seam area, and there is an open seam on the front shoulder/underarm seam. There may be more places where the seams need reinforcing before wearing, but the fabric is in good shape, no shattering. Size small. Measures 15 1/2- 16" shoulder to shoulder seam, 23" sleeves, 34" bust, 23" waist (hook at waist can be moved 1" to accommodate a 24" waist), 34" hips, 17" shoulder to waist, 14" waist to hem. 1960's Zelinka Matlick Spring/Summer Skirt Suit

"B. Siegel Co. Detroit" and "Forstmann Celestial Tweed 25" pure silk, 75% virgin wool, Loomed for Zelinka Matlick" labels. Lovely light weight tweed suit in bone, cream and beige, very lady-like. The jacket is boxy style, with 3/4 length sleeves and little faux pockets. The skirt is tight fitting with back kick pleat. The jacket is lined in terra cotta colored crepe, the skirt is partially lined in same fabric. Skirt fastens with side metal zipper and button. Suit is in pristine condition. Size small. Jacket is meant to be loose fitting. Jacket measures 15 3/4" shoulder to shoulder seam, 36" bust, 35" waist, 35" hem, 18 1/2" shoulder to hem. Skirt measures 25" waist, 36" hips, 26" waist to hem. 1950's Wool Tweed Dress and Coat Set - Leather Tie Belt

"Ivan Frederickson of California" label. This is one California Sportswear designer that got it right. This is a dress suit that any woman would love to have in her closet today. It is a classic. A wool tweed in black and white, which I always love. Dress is hourglass shaped with elbow length sleeves, fitted waist, and back kick pleat on skirt. Interesting details like a panel under right side of waist, decorated with large button, and the matching black leather tie belt - make this dress special. The coat is an unfitted, collarless style with matching button placket to the button on the dress, side pockets, and glove length sleeves. Both coat and dress are lined in black light weight taffeta, which could be silk or rayon. The set is in mint condition. Size small. 1940's Wool Wrap Coat with Leopard Detail

No labels remaining. Classic wartime 40's wrap coat, with padded shoulders and princess seaming. Done in black wool crepe, lined in black rayon. Coat is wrap style, with attached tie belt of same fabric. The shoulder seams have decorative pleating, a classic 40's touch. The collar of the coat has a single faux leopard button at each side for decoration. The sleeves flare out slightly at the hem. The coat has princess seaming from shoulder to hem, back to sides of front of coat. In very good condition, there is seam repair to lining seams, and underneath the buttons the wool is mended from the previous decorations being removed. The coat has a little more than moderate wear, but still looks nice. Size small-medium. Measures 16" shoulder to shoulder seam, 22" sleeves (measuring from top of sleeve down), up to 36" bust, up to 28" waist, up to 38" hips, 16" shoulder to waist, 26" waist to hem. 1950's Lilli Ann Wool/Angora Suit with Angora Dots and Velvet Trim

"An Original from Lilli Ann of San Francisco" label. What a gorgeous early 50's Lilli suit! It is dark charcoal gray wool and angora blend the charcoal has white angora threads, with fuzzy white angora "dots" design. The collar and pockets are trimmed in black velvet. The sleeves are cuffed. Both jacket and skirt are lined in black crepe. I love the curvy shape of the jacket, nipped at the waist and juts out a bit at the hem/hips. Jacket fastens with original self covered buttons into French bound button holes. Skirt fastens with side metal zipper and button, and has back kick pleat. The sleeves and hem may have been shortened from original length, and there are areas on the suit that have less white angora threads than other areas, as if they were worn down, but oddly the fabric does not look or feel worn down. Otherwise the suit is in nice shape. Size small. Jacket measures 16 1/2" shoulder to shoulder seam, 20" sleeves, 38" bust, 28" waist, 37" hips, 16" shoulder to waist, 22 1/2" shoulder to hem.
