1930's Couture Charmuese Damask Night Gown with Appliquéd Lace

"Hand Made in China, No.___" label. This is a beautiful 30's slinky night gown. Done in pink silk charmuese with a very pretty, bamboo leaf damask weave. The bodice is fitted and has inverted V seam just under bust, with shirring at bust. Bias cut, with fitted waist and full length skirt. Comes with original matching silk belt with silk tassels. All inner seams are hand finished so there are no raw or salvage edges. Best part is the great zig zag lace collar! Done in matching pink silk lace with delicate floral embroidery, hand done. The collar goes front to back and fastens with a row of self covered silk buttons in frog loops. In excellent condition! Size small. So pretty! Silk with a satin finish. Bias cut. Bright floral print. Self bow at center V of bodice, smocking at shoulders, self belt attached. Fitted. 1960's "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" Nylon and Lace Full Slip

"   " label. Very Elizabeth Taylor in the movie "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" in which she prances around in a slip. Tomato red nylon with red lace, and lots of it! Adjustable ribbon straps. Like new condition. Makes a great little night gown, too. Size medium. "Marilyn Fashions" label. Abstract print rayon crepe dressing gown is fitted and has shoulder pads and short cuffed sleeves. Bodice is styled with collar, and fastens with inside self tie at the left side, and has 3 self covered buttons one at waist one above waist, and snaps . Skirt is full length and flared. Colors of print are blue-gray-coral pink, chartreuse, light pink and black. In very good wearable condition. Size medium. 1950's Rayon Mandarin Pajamas

"Princess Paramount" label. Rayon pajamas with whimsical fans and flowers print. Red back with pretty multi colors print. Mandarin style button front pajama top with blue piping along borders. Pants have side button placket, high waist and flared legs. Cute! In very good condition, no stains or damage. Size medium. Top measures 38" bust, 15" shoulder to shoulder, 36" waist. 1940's-50's Rayon Print Wrap Style Dressing Gown

No labels, probably home sewn. Nice quality rayon in red with white flowers that have blue, green and yellow centers. Wrap style dressing gown ties on inside and has attached self belt, collar and full length sleeves. The skirt is semi-full and has an asymmetrical top flap which is a lovely detail. Unlined. Excellent condition except for a tiny bit of yellowing along inside inner neckline on the facing. Size large. Measures 17" shoulder to shoulder seam, 20" sleeves, 40" bust, 34" waist (slightly adjustable) free hips, 17" shoulder to waist, 36" waist to hem. For a larger view click here.
