1930's Silk Crepe Full Length Slip with Plunging Back

No labels, lovely fabric. Dusty peach silk crepe is bias cut and has plunging back line. Slightly fitted waist, matching satin straps are not adjustable. Fastens with side hooks and eyes placket. Very clean, has a very faint nickel size spot on lower skirt, hook placket has little runs in fabric but is still sturdy. At lower sides of skirt, a few inches above the hemline, there are what look like panniers that resemble pockets, not sure what the function is. Size medium. Slip measures up to a 39" bust, 33" waist, 40" hips, 16-17" shoulder to waist, about 31" waist to hem. For a larger view click here. For a back view click here. 1930's Pure Silk Satin Dressing Gown with Silk Lace Trims

"Pure Silk , Pure Silk Satin, non-loaded size 36" label. Absolutely gorgeous! Peach satin with ecru silk lace trim around arm openings and V of bodice. The sleeves are "balloon" style, they are wide, gathered up and pleated and folded under, and seamlessly lined in matching peach silk chiffon. The rest of the gown is not lined. The gown is fitted at the waist, and fastens with two snaps, one on outside and one on inside "wrap" style. There is a label on the inside fastening strap (Pure Silk, Pure Satin) so this is the real thing. The original tie belt is gone. A matching piece of peach or ecru ribbon would worn nicely. Other than the belt, it is in very good to excellent condition, clean, no break-down of satin or lace, no holes. Amazingly nice shape. Size small-medium. Measures 15 1/2" shoulder to shoulder  edge, 37" bust, 27" waist, up to 38" hips, 16" shoulder to waist, 38" waist to hem. For a larger view click here. For a side view click here. 1950's Silk Floral Kimono

A traditional kimono made of a heavy silk in a multi color floral and abstract design with applied gold paint designs. The outer is in pristine condition, the lining is in great condition but does have some spots. This is best for a small-medium  person, it is open front and the original belt is missing, so I have added a matching olive satin ribbon tie belt. These make great robes, gowns or coats. This is made in Hawaii and is new, vintage look. The print is retro-50's, red background with flying cranes and floral print in aqua, black and white. Very pretty print.
