Kitty Girl Vintage Shipping:

All orders within USA are shipped via USPS Priority mail service with insurance and/or delivery confirmation. If you must have other forms of shipment such as Express shipping, Kitty Girl Vintage will gladly accommodate just e mail me at kittyg@surewest.net or add this request to the comments box at the end of the secure order form.

*All orders outside the USA and over $100 are shipped via USPS air mail or USPS Global Express Mail. Regarding import duties: Please be aware of your own country's tariff policies and import duties. Kitty Girl Vintage is not responsible for these fees, you as the purchaser are. If necessary, you should contact your local customs department and find out about any import fees before you order. We prefer to be 100% honest when filling out  customs forms for overseas packages. Please do not ask us to fudge your form. If you know someone within the USA that you could have your package forwarded through, we will happily oblige. If you choose that your package is mailed without tracking or insurance and is going outside the USA, please be aware that if your package does not show up within the expected amount of time there is no way Kitty Girl can "check up on" or "track" your package. In this case please check with your local postal carrier, your local post office and/or your local customs department, as packages can be detained at any time for any reason at the destination countries' customs department. Kitty Girl Vintage is not responsible for lost or missing packages that do not have tracking or insurance.

Kitty Girl Vintage Payment (PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, American Express) Methods and Sales Tax:

If paying by PayPal, check or money order, e mail your order to kittyg@surewest.net  along with item number/description and mailing address. You will get a response back quickly with totals, or a PayPal invoice. Items ordered by check payment are no longer put on "hold". This is due to the high number of check orders that are never received. After check or money order is received, your order will be shipped approximately 10 days after for first time personal check buyers. After that you will receive immediate shipment.

If paying by Visa, American Express or MasterCard use our on-line secure order form.  Your order will be shipped within 48 hours of receipt. After submitting your secure order, you will receive an email confirmation and address verification.

You can now use PayPal, a safe way to send money via email. Order via email with item numbers and your name and mailing address, and I will contact you quickly with totals and instructions for paying via PayPal. Not a member? Go to PayPal web site to see details and sign up.

	California residents are subject to 7.750% sales tax

Kitty Girl Vintage Layaway Plan: 30% down and the balance due within 90 days if paying with credit card, 60 day layaway terms if using PayPal to make payments. There is a 10% restocking fee on layaways that are canceled, or returned. This means that 10% of the sale price of the items on layaway will be deducted from the refund payment.  This is the only fee charged for layaway items.

Kitty Girl Vintage Return Policy:

Refunds granted if items returned within 10 days of confirmed delivery date (less shipping) items must be undamaged and in same exact condition when returned. Shipping is not refundable. If items are returned worn, damaged, or otherwise altered from original state when received, refunds are not granted. Due to the nature of the vintage clothing we sell, many items of clothing are original one-of-a-kind designer pieces and are not replaceable. We strive to offer the best quality vintage clothing in the best condition possible. Extreme care must be used when trying on your purchases.  Please notify by e-mail of intent to return. After 10 days from confirmed delivery date refunds are not granted. If items are returned wrinkled, a 5% restocking fee will be subtracted from refund amount.

Orders within the USA; you will have 12 days after delivery date of your order to inspect and return for a full refund less shipping. After 10 days refunds are not granted. Items must be in same exact condition as when purchased.

Orders outside the USA will have 20 days to inspect and return for a full refund less shipping. After 20 days refunds are not granted.

Just mail back to Kitty Girl Vintage in same package if desired, with insurance or delivery confirmation within 12 days (USA) or 20 days (Outside USA) for refund. Simple!

 

Kitty Girl Vintage Disclaimer on Shipping Packages Outside the USA

Customs Forms:

Packages being mailed outside the USA require customs forms. Customs forms are for declaring the contents and value of the package. Packages going into their destination countries get routed through that countries’ customs department. Packages of any value can be detained for inspection at any time and could delay the arrival of your package.

Declaration of value, tracking and insurance:

Packages being mailed air mail letter post with customs form marked with a declared value of under $30 are the most inexpensive form of shipping an item weighing less than 3 pounds. Unfortunately this form of shipping does not have any form of insurance or tracking. The only way to track a package is to mail it via USPS Express Mail. This tracking information is usually only handy until the package leaves the USA and then the tracking becomes either very difficult or nonexistent because it is subject to being scanned en route, to be trackable. The only way to get a refund on your purchase if it is lost or does not arrive to you is to purchase insurance and declare the full value on the customs form and pay any taxes and duties due.

Kitty Girl Vintage’s Responsibility for Lost Packages:

By selecting a non-track able, non-insured form of shipping you are waiving your rights to hold Kitty Girl Vintage responsible in the event that your package does not arrive. We are happy to provide proof of mailing to the address the customer has provided.

Our Success Rate with Overseas Packages:

Kitty Girl Vintage has to date never had a package “lost”, missing, or otherwise never arrive to its destination country. We have had trouble with registered mail not reaching its destination and being returned to Kitty Girl Vintage marked “unclaimed” when in fact the buyer never saw the package or was not ever notified of its arrival. Because of this, we do not offer registered mail service outside of the USA even though the destination country may claim that they accept these packages. We have also had long delays with USPS Express mail arriving to destination country within the expected 3-5 day period. In one case, a package took 2 months to clear customs. In our experience, Express mail rarely arrives within the expected 3-5 day period outside the USA.

Please be aware that Kitty Girl Vintage wants your overseas business and wants your packages to arrive safely and in a timely manner and we do everything in our power to ensure that this occurs.
