1950's Miss Brooks Silk Print Dress with Pleating and Faux Sarong Skirt

"Miss Brooks New York". Silk charmuese with floral print in cool shades of turquoise blue, light blue, aqua and violet. Fitted, hourglass shape, slim skirt. Bodice and waist are fitted. Bodice has pleated shawl collar with pretty self ascot with fringe at one side. Skirt is pleated at left waist for a sarong look. Dress is lined in matching rayon. Skirt has back kick pleat and fastens with back metal zipper. This dress would be absolutely flawless except for light fading across the shoulders from storage. Size small. 1960's Teal Traina Cotton Print Dress with Beading

"Teal Traina" label. Off white cotton faille baby doll style dress with high fitted waist, V neckline and shirring around waist for a slightly full skirt. The dress has a gorgeous spring like print in green, tangerine and coral. Skirt has inset pockets. The neckline and waist are decorated with cording and pearl ball beads. The dress is lined in white silk, and fastens with back nylon zipper. In good condition, under left pocket there is a wide area of fade and two faint quarter size spots. Size medium. 1950's Nicholas Reich Embellished Party Dress

"Reich Originals" label. Light pink rayon faux linen fabric with ecru lace insets at neckline and on skirt. The lace insets are dotted with prong set rhinestones for a bit of sparkle. Dress is styled with short cuffed sleeves, fitted waist and full skirt. Bodice is lined in self fabric (bodice looks a bit darker in photos because of lining, but is not). Skirt is not lined, you will need a matching slip because you can see through the lace insets. Comes with original matching belt. Very good lightly worn condition. Size small-medium. 1950's Embroidered Cotton Faille Day Dress with Side Swag

No labels, professionally made. Gorgeous dress in a beautiful shade of indigo blue in a lovely cotton faille fabric. The dress has lovely dress maker details such as a zig zag neckline and side swag, off white cotton "dots" embroidery on neckline and side swag, and a set of straps in self fabric to keep the dress in place (the sleeves are off-the-shoulder or slightly off). The dress has a wrap or sarong style back skirt, cleverly done. Comes with original matching belt which is stamped. Unlined and fastens with side metal zipper. The side swag as it is now simply falls at one side of dress but could be fastened onto front waist if desired with a hook and eye. In Minty mint condition, just like new, although the top layer of the wrap style back of skirt needs to be adjusted to hang properly, either that or my dress form's rear end was just not big enough for it.
