	1950's Rayon Dragon Print Dress with Faux Button Hole Detail and Side Slits No labels. A rayon possibly cotton blend, with a polished finish, like polished cotton. Colorful dragon print against a wheat colored background. V neckline, cap sleeves, fitted. Has side slits and has self under skirt. This dress is definitely influenced by the cheongsam or Quipao dress, an Americanized version. Fastens with back metal zipper. Has been in storage for years, needs cleaning - is musty but not dirty or stained. Might have some minor color variance or tiny spots, not noticeable. 	1960's Little Black Dress with Empire Waist "M.M. Cohen, Little Rock" label. This is a weighty black rayon gabardine crepe fabric, has a nice drape to it. Lined in black silk. The dress has a V neckline, darted bust, and fitted empire waist. The skirt has an inverted center front pleat, and an attached self belt that fastens with hooks and eyes at back waist. The dress fastens with back nylon zipper. In very good condition, hem has probably been taken up and is missing the eye to the hook on top of back zipper placket. Size small-medium. 	1950's I Magnin Indigo Blue Wool Crepe Coat "I Magnin & Co" label. Pretty shade of indigo blue, in a wool crepe. Coat is unfitted, fastens with self covered buttons that have stitching detail. Pockets have decorative notches at center top flap. Coat is lined in rayon silk crepe. Coat is in very good pre-worn condition, no holes or stains, sill looks nice. The color is my favorite thing about this coat, a deep indigo - the color of dark-wash denim. A nice change from the usual black. Size medium. 	1950's Herbert Schneider Silk Faille Tailored Day Dress "Herbert Schneider" and "This Garment is Pure Silk" labels. A beautifully tailored dress of matte black silk faille, feels slightly like taffeta and slightly like satin. A fitted dress with button front placket with self covered buttons and French bound button holes. A single hook and eye at waist. There is a jabot tie at neck, and neckline is dipped in front center. Inset pockets at hips. Skirt has back inverted kick pleat. Dress is unlined except for fabric facing on bodice. Although this dress looks un-worn or worn only once or twice, it does have two flaws: at left shoulder seam the fabric is frayed across the seam about 2". Behind this fray is another 1 1/2" fray that is only held together by some threads. The fabric next to the neck opening is worn down about 2" in diameter as well. The fraying at the seam can be altered out. Size medium-large. Measures 16" shoulder to shoulder seam, up to 39" bust, 29" waist, 39" hips, 16 1/2" shoulder to waist, 27" waist to hem.
