	1940's Silk Twill Peplum Dress - Novelty Pea Pod Print No labels remaining. Late 40's to early 50's. A gorgeous dress, the fabric is luscious. A medium weight silk twill fabric. The dress is styled with a keyhole neckline with sculptural wide collar that has a single button hole decoration on one side of the collar. The sleeves are 3/4 length and cuffed. Dress has original self fabric covered shoulder pads. Fitted, skirt flares out at hem. The decorative peplum is asymmetrical (front only), the peplum is self-lined. The dress has a dark smoky gray taupe background with yellow, black and white opened pea pods that expose a row of peas, peas floating about and a smaller black print in the background. Fastens with side metal zipper. It's adorable! Dress is in very good to excellent condition except for two flaws: one underarm has 2 pin head sized holes and the fabric in this area is slightly delicate, there is a fade line on one shoulder. Otherwise the dress looks hardly worn. Size small-medium. Dress measures 16" shoulder to shoulder edge, 37" bust, 27" waist, 38" hips, 16" shoulder to waist, 27" waist to hem. 	1960's Helena Barbieri Peau de Soie Tri-Color Evening Gown - As Is "Helena Barbieri Original" label. Not a big name in vintage fashion, but a recognizable and collectible label. Barbieri put out some really beautiful designs in the 50's and 60's. This late 50s to early 60s gown is made of silk satin in three colors: a pale lavender pink, a darker lavender, and eggplant purple. The gown is fitted at the e bodice and then free flowing to hem. Panels of fabric give the gown a formal, even Grecian feel. The gown is lined in silk with expert hand stitching. The lining has it's own separate back metal zipper, the satin outer portion zips over that. The gown has been cleaned, but is wrinkled from storage and may have had the straps altered. There is fading across top of straps, a fade streak running down sides of lavender portion of skirt, and tiny fraying along edges of straps. Part of the hem is out. Size medium. 	1960's Sweet Cotton Belted Dress in Plaid No labels found. A darling dress in red, black, gray and silver plaid and speckles. The dress has a bateau neckline with collar, short sleeves with buttons to match the gold metal buttons on the bodice, fitted, with full skirt that is pleated all around except for a flat center front panel. The belt is self fabric and lined in black fabric. Dress is un-lined and fastens with back metal zipper. In very good condition. Size small. 	1950's Silk Faille Rosebud Print Day Dress "Youth Guild" label. A medium weight silk faille - almost feels like satin because the fabric is fairly thick. The dress has classic princess lines, fitted bodice, full pleated skirt. The dress is finished with pleated ruffle-like trim on sleeve cuffs and neckline. The dress is beautifully made, un-lined, and fastens with side metal zipper. In very good, clean condition. There is a long narrow panel of fabric from collar down side sleeve, and side of dress where the green of the roses has faded to a paler shade, the black and pink colors are not faded, however.
