1960's Printed Silk Chiffon Sheath Dress with Illusion Bodice

"Another Ann Barry, Jr." label. A pretty little sheath dress with fitted waist in silk chiffon over pink rayon silk. The abstract print of the chiffon is in coral pink, light pink, light and dark olive green, and white. The pink rayon under dress has thin straps made of the printed chiffon. The under portion of the dress is made to fit snugly, while the chiffon over layer is loose fitting. The dress is finished with a self bow at waist. Fastens with back metal zipper. Excellent condition. Size small. Measures 34" bust, 24" waist, 34" hips, 15 1/2" shoulder to waist, 24 1/2" waist to hem. Probably meant for a petite or shorter figure. For a larger view click here. 1940's Cotton Pique' Novelty Print Summer Dress

No labels found. An adorable dress in off-white cotton with a woven design of raised ovals. This dress is from the late 40's to early 50's. Styled with Deep V neckline, a stand-up collar at back neck is decoratively pleated, and has dolman style cap sleeves. Fitted at the waist, semi-full skirt. Fastens front with metal ball buttons into self fabric loops. There is light shirring around the waist, and the original self covered belt which is stamped "15" on the back. The dress has a novelty print of floating pineapples in aqua blue, olive green, black and maroon. Adorable! The dress is in very good condition, the belt is a shade darker (soiled light brownish) than the dress, the belt buckle is stained a spotty light brown on one side, and there is a faint water mark stain across back one shoulder, and a bit on one sleeve.
