1920's Satin and Chantilly Lace Wedding Dress

No labels, hand made, couture details. The hand made silk lace is done in white, and is the most exquisite lace I have ever seen. Soft and supple, like gossamer. Yet in incredibly nice condition with no drying at all. The dress is done in a candlelight beige silk satin. The satin is also in equally as nice of shape as the lace, soft, supple, clean, no damage at all. Classic 1920's fitted, drop-waist style with a slightly full skirt. Lace overlay for just the right touch. Lace trim bodice/neckline, lace sleeves. Pleated waist treatment, with pleated satin panels down sides of dress.  Dress bodice is lined in a fine white silk netting, skirt is un-lined. Dress is in near mint condition, the only flaws being small perspiration rings both sides, four tiny brown spots on one side bow, 4 tiny brown spots on one pannier. The satin and the lace are incredibly clean, soft and supple with no drying at all.   Size small. 1950's Harvey Berin Chantilly Lace Wedding Dress with Satin Trim

"Harvey Berin designed by Karen Stark" and "Silk Chantilly Lace made in France" labels. Possibly the finest hand made lace in the world. A beautiful ivory silk lace, fit and flare style. Bodice is form-fitting, waist is nipped, skirt flares out and has inset pleating at sides. The straps and the skirt are trimmed in a decorative band of silk satin in a lavender-ish pink. The skirt trim has a small bow at either side and center front. The lace is scalloped at the edges. The dress is lined in matching ivory taffeta, with a corset style bodice with boning. Dress fastens with back metal zipper. Dress would be in excellent  to mint condition except for perspiration marks at the edges of the lace at underarms, one underarm has a break in the lace under the edge where the mark is. The lace can be removed or turned under quite easily. Size medium. Dress measures 34-35BC" bust (also measures 35" across back from underarm to underarm) 28" waist, 42" hips, 16" shoulder to waist, 30" waist to hem. For a larger view click here. 950's Stemmed Roses Print Silk Dress with Decorative Pleating - Large Size

No labels found. Professionally made. A brilliant scarf style print of long stemmed roses and rose buds in pink, pale pink, berry red, with teal green leaves and stems, and a touch of off-white, against a black background. Styled for day wear, but nice enough for evening wear by today's standards. A fitted, hourglass shape with decorative pin-tucked pleats at left side of bodice, under bust. Cap sleeves, fitted waist, with skirt that is slightly flared at hem. Partially lined, back metal zipper. In very good condition, has a hidden small spot on front bodice. Size large. 1950's Georgette Cocktail Dress with Ruching and Pleating

No labels, couture - lots of expert hand stitching, beautifully made. A persimmon color in a georgette crepe that feels like rayon. This dress has the most gorgeous ruched and pleated bodice I have ever seen. Off-shoulder sleeves, sleeves are ruched top and bottom, too. Skirt is very full. Hem is hand finished, lining is hand finished. Dress is lined in matching rayon silk crepe. Dress fastens with side metal zipper, and little hooks and eyes over the zipper placket. Dress is in excellent condition, has but 3 pin head sized holes on back skirt, just above hem. Size small. Measures 34" bust, 24" waist, free hips, 16" shoulder to waist, 28" waist to hem.
