1960's Chester Weinberg Wool Skirt Suit

"Chester Weinberg" and "Mabel*Danahay Buffalo" labels. Late 60's-early 70's.  A beautifully constructed fine wool suit obviously Scottish influence, right down to the wrap style skirt with matching wool fringe. The suit is plaid in black, red and teal. The jacket is tailored and fitted, and fastens with hidden large cloth covered snaps. The skirt is slim fitting, wrap style - fastens with large hook and eye, and several cloth covered snaps, and of course finished with the matching wool fringe. The jacket is lined in black silk, the skirt has two linings, the first lining is black silk organza and the second lining is black silk. Looks to be un-worn or only worn once or twice, but does have 4 tiny holes: two right above hem on back of skirt, and two 2" above hem on front of skirt.  Size small. Jacket measures 14 1/2" shoulder to shoulder seam, 21 1/2" sleeves, 35" bust, 26" waist, 36" hem, 20" shoulder to hem of jacket. Skirt measures 25" waist, 35" hips and is 24" in length. 1960's Lilli Ann Boucle' Skirt Suit with Mink Trim

"Lilli Ann Paris San Francisco" label. I have to mention that this wool boucle' is so much thicker, dense,  and richer of a weave than any other boucle' I can recall having. It is just a gorgeous fabric. This is the classic late 50's skirt suit, fitted pencil skirt with cropped length jacket with fur trim. The collar fastens with cloth covered snap and has self bow, cute! The jacket has a scalloped hem and glove length sleeves. Also has crochet covered large  ball buttons. I love the contrasting white collar. The jacket is lined in black crepe,  the skirt is partially lined in rayon. Skirt fastens with side metal zipper and button at top of placket. The set is in excellent lightly worn condition. Size small. Jacket measures about 15" shoulder to shoulder edge, 36" bust, 29" waist, 18" shoulder to waist. 1960's Lilli Ann Suit in Black and Red with Pagoda Sleeves - Minty

"Tisse a Paris Por Lilli Ann Paris" and "Lilli Ann Paris San Francisco" labels. This suit is a rare red and black weave in wool/silk blend, and it is pristine! And a medium size, too. The jacket is waist length, with pretty scalloped hem. Original self covered buttons, and bow at top of placket. Skirt has side metal zipper, with button at top of placket. The jacket is lined in black silk crepe, the skirt is partially lined in silk. Size medium. Jacket measures 38" bust, 34" waist, 17 1/2" shoulder to waist. 1950's Polished Cotton Circle Skirt - Impressionist Tree Print

I found no labels in this, it is probably home sewn but nicely done.
Made of polished cotton in light beige or bone colored background with an impressionist tree print in taupe-gray, black, tangerine, burnt orange, lighter tangerine, white, canary yellow taupe-brown. The skirt has a wide waist band that has an inner semi-stiff lining, the skirt is pleated all around and nice and full. There is an attached/sewn in yellow tulle crinoline slip, and the skirt fastens with a back metal zipper and button at top of placket. Condition: The skirt looks hardly worn. The fabric is crisp and has all of it's body and shape, the colors are fresh and bright. The skirt is clean and ready to wear. Flaws: skirt has several small brown-ish stains on front and back. About six total, not horrible, you cannot see them unless you get close and look. I have not tried to clean them out.
